August 23 - 6th Annual Chalk Art Festival & Live Music
With Fanta-Sea as the theme this year, artists will create their very own underwater fanta-sea. The event is open to the public and individuals; families and groups are encouraged to participate. Free chalk will be provided to the first 150 registrants. Prizes will be awarded in various categories. The Redondo Pier Association and the Redondo S.E.A. (Science, Education and Adventure) Laboratory will partner along with other sponsors and supporters to bring Fanta-Sea to life. Live music from the Free to be Me drum circle and Jimbo & the Bodacious Blues band will begin immediately after the Chalk Art Festival. Bring your own beach chair for better enjoyment of concerts. The Redondo Beach pier offers a wide array of dining, shopping and fun for the entire family.

original REDONDO BEACH LOBSTER FESTIVAL
September 26 - 28th
Maine Lobsters prepared in gigantic custom made (just for this lobster festival) cooking
kettles right before your eyes, prepared fresh daily by Master
Chef Bruce Jacobs of Bristol Farms Limited. Attractions include
live entertainment, giant international food court including
many of the Harbor area restaurants, arts & craft booths,
full beach bar, large stage, carnival rides, come enjoy the
best time of your life.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE
Santa and his elf will be visiting the Redondo
Beach Marina, and the Redondo Beach Pier throughout the
day and at 5:00 pm the boat parade begins. The whole harbor
area along Harbor Drive lights up with many of the boats in
the Marina lighting their boats as well throughout the holiday
season. Viewing for the actual boat parade can be seen from
many of the
restaurants, on the piers or along the break wall.
